Homework

Homework is provided to enhance and consolidate skills, allowing children to gain confidence in applying skills outside of school. Homework tasks are explained to children before being sent home or on explanation sheets.

If a child is absent we do offer homework clubs and time to discuss activities with the children and parents. We try to balance homework with other activities children may participate in outside of school.

Research shows that practising skills and parental support promotes a good attitude and high attainment in children.
